Character Education - Responsible Decision Making - Civic Engagement - School Climate
Jay Goldman's extensive public service record, first-hand experience growing up in a broken home and a former executive at a seminar company, sets him apart from every other youth speaker in the industry. His high school and middle school programs are designed to call students to action in their school and community by promoting social awareness, responsible decision making and character education. Jay connects with students through appropriate humor, stories from his childhood and service experience.
Jay reinforces a narrative of community service, empathy and inclusion while challenging students to take a look at how they treat their peers and teachers. Jay takes students through the journey of his life, going from being held back in first grade for developmental issues, to his struggles as a teen, to speaking at The White House at age twenty-five and becoming a national leader for volunteer advocacy.
Using a Become, Create and Obtain informed action model, Jay provides students with real-world tools they can use immediately to combat issues facing their school and community.
Brining Jay to your school or youth organization will have a lasting impact on both your students and faculty.
